Keith is a Wealth Advisor with Legacy Financial Management, a branch office of BentOak Capital in Lubbock, TX. Keith manages the Lubbock branch office providing investment advisory and financial planning services to clients. Keith is also a voting member of our Investment Committee.
Keith believes that you have a choice in financial advisors and in many areas providing customer service is a lost art. Ultimately, the mark of an excellent financial advisor or firm is how well they deliver on what they say they will do. Keith gets to know his clients personally to provide the service they deserve.
Keith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University. After working several years as an engineer, Keith developed an interest and passion to assist clients in their financial lives. Combining the analytical and problem-solving skills developed as an engineer with the desire to use these skills in assisting clients in their wealth management, Keith moved into the financial services industry. Keith has been in the financial services business since 1989. He has done extensive work in investment planning, retirement income planning, tax planning, retirement plans, and insurance planning.
Keith has had a keen interest in a life-long commitment to education. A true professional should be committed to learning more about their profession to serve clients more effectively on an ongoing basis. Keith’s commitment to education and constant self-improvement has been the driving force in developing his professional credentials. Keith is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) practitioner and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®).
Keith received a Master of Science in Finance from Texas Tech University and currently serves as a faculty member in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech where he teaches finance.
Keith believes that the need for thoughtful and objective financial guidance has never been more important in the abundance of information available in the “Information Age.” While sifting through all the information, finding a qualified financial advisor can be difficult. As a financial professional, Keith has the freedom to determine what strategies, services, and products work best for individual clients and their unique situations. Keith’s clients consist of pre-retirees, retirees, professionals, and business owners.
Keith is a member of the Lubbock Economic Council and South Plains Trust & Estate Council. He is married to his college sweetheart, Carol. They have four children and six grandchildren. Carol is a licensed dyslexia therapist and teaches at the Shallowater ISD and Scottish Rite Learning Center in Lubbock.
