About

Kimberly brings 20 years of financial services experience and a strong commitment to client service, operational excellence, and thoughtful compliance leadership. She joined BentOak Capital in 2024 to lead the launch of our Katy office after a successful career in Houston and now serves as Chief Compliance Officer.

Originally from San Diego, Kimberly transitioned into financial services in 2005 after a background in numismatics. Her experience spans operations, compliance, and client service, giving her a comprehensive view of the client experience and the systems that support it. Before becoming Chief Compliance Officer, she served as Operations & Compliance Manager, a role in which she helped oversee firm operations, support compliance processes, and strengthen the infrastructure behind BentOak’s client service experience. Her accomplishments include overseeing broker/dealer transitions, opening new offices, and coordinating large-scale relocations. She is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, or CAMS, and holds a General Life & Health insurance license.

Outside the office, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her husband, Cliff, their three children, and two dogs. She’s active in her church community and is an avid baker known for her signature Snickerdoodles and Kentucky Gingerbread. She also enjoys Hallmark movie marathons and true crime podcasts.
