About

Wayne is the founder, Executive Chairman, and previous Chief Executive Officer of BentOak Capital where he oversees the firmwide vision and direction of the business. Wayne consults with the rest of the leadership team in formulating procedures, processes, and business development strategies. Wayne believes one of his greatest assets is mentoring team members to share his career experiences and ultimately help our team grow and flourish in the everchanging wealth management industry.

Wayne particularly enjoys taking complicated concepts and simplifying them in a way that clients can understand and easily implement to help them pursue their long-term goals. He specializes in income tax planning, estate planning, and retirement planning. Wayne also serves as a voting member of our investment committee.

Throughout the years, Wayne has actively contributed to numerous community boards and service organizations. Some of his past responsibilities include serving on the Weatherford City Council and Weatherford Utility Board along with serving as chairman of the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce and president of the Weatherford Noon Lions Club. He has served numerous years with the Parker County Economic Development Council and was a founding member of the Weatherford Education Foundation. Wayne has been a longtime member of North Side Baptist Church, having served as a Deacon, Chairman of Deacons, Church Trustee, and Sunday School teacher.

Wayne is a Certified Public Accountant, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner, and a Retirement Income Certified Professional®.

Wayne is a graduate of Weatherford College & Texas Wesleyan University. A lifelong student, he recently completed his Master of Science in Financial Services from the American College in 2019.

Along with being the previous CEO of BentOak Capital, he is a founding partner of Snow Garrett Williams, CPA’s.

Wayne’s passion is helping make a positive difference in others’ lives.

When not working or volunteering, you will find Wayne spending time spoiling his four grandchildren, being a weekend farmer, hunting, or traveling with his wife Sharon.
