Marley Wood
Client Service Associate | Paraplanner
Marley joined our team in the summer of 2020. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics with a concentration in Finance & Real Estate, minoring in Personal Financial Planning. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and is currently studying for her Series 7 and 66 licensing exams.
As a Client Service Associate (CSA) & Paraplanner, Marley has two distinct roles within our firm. As a CSA, she helps BentOak clients with administrative needs such as account paperwork, transfers, etc. In her role as a paraplanner, Marley sits in on client meetings and takes notes, helps prepare for meetings, handles meeting follow up, and provides general support to our financial planners. She chose the financial planning profession because she likes helping others, and BentOak is excited about Marley’s bright future as she grows into a financial advisor role.
In her spare time, Marley enjoys showing cutting horses alongside her parents and sister. She is a proud member of the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) and has been competing in the sport of cutting since she was just 6 years old. When Marley isn’t riding horses, she can usually be found spending her time with her Goldendoodle, Dolly, who she loves teaching new tricks too. In addition to cutting, Marley enjoys going on runs with Dolly, and is an avid reader – her favorite author being Cassandra Clare.
