Kimberly Cushman

Kimberly brings 18 years of financial services expertise and a passion for client service to the BentOak Capital team. After building a successful career in Houston, she joined us in 2024 to spearhead the launch of our Katy office.

Prior to joining BentOak, Kimberly embarked on a successful career in Houston after relocating from the world of numismatics in 2005. Transitioning seamlessly, Kimberly took on a rewarding path in financial services, gaining invaluable experience across operations, compliance, and client service.

Her dedication is evident in her impressive achievements: facilitating broker/dealer transitions, establishing new offices, and coordinating relocations. Kimberly’s expertise extends beyond operations, as she holds Series 7, Series 66 through LPL Financial, and General Life & Health insurance licenses.

But Kimberly’s talents are not only in the financial realm. When she’s not exceeding client expectations, she’s whipping up batches of her legendary Snickerdoodles and Kentucky Gingerbread (beware, they’re highly addictive!). She also finds joy in volunteering, indulging in Hallmark movie marathons, and unraveling mysteries through true crime podcasts.

Kimberly’s organizational skills shine through in her hobbies, too. She’s a podcast aficionado and a diamond art enthusiast, always ready to tackle a new challenge with meticulous precision.
