About

Brandon is the Chief Executive Officer of BentOak Capital, previously having served as Chief Investment Officer. In his capacity as CEO, Brandon’s primary focus is on the broader strategic direction of BentOak Capital – shaping the firm’s overall vision.

As a 7th generation Texan and 5th generation Parker County resident, Brandon brings a distinctive perspective in working with family-owned businesses and farm & ranch clients. Brandon focuses on demystifying financial concepts for clients, emphasizing straightforward, proactive advice and a team-oriented approach to strive for a superior client experience. His expertise in finance has been acknowledged in both local and national media, including CNBC and the Associated Press, and he has been recognized as a “Five Star Wealth Manager” for 2018-2020.

Brandon’s community involvement extends beyond his professional role. He currently serves as a deacon and is on the finance committee at North Side Baptist Church, reflecting his commitment to his faith and community. Additionally, he currently serves on the City of Weatherford’s Economic Development Committee. His previous leadership roles include the Texas Tech University Personal Financial Planning Alumni Advisory Board, the DFW Chapter of the Financial Planning Association, the Weatherford Noon Lions Club, and the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce, among others.

Holding several designations such as CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner, Certified Investment Management Analyst®, and Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, Brandon is well-equipped with the knowledge necessary for his role.

Brandon earned his Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University and the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation through the Investments & Wealth Institute®, completing the executive education program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Outside the office, Brandon enjoys hunting, grilling, ranching, and exploring Texas history. He cherishes life on his family farm with his wife Audra and their four children.
